In 2009, the rally started in Kazan and, passing through the territories of Tatarstan and the Orenburg region in Russia, proceeded to Kazakhstan, through the West Kazakhstan and Mangistau regions, continued in Turkmenistan, along the lands of the Balkan and Akhal provinces, and finished 8 days after its inception in Ashgabat.
